Artist name & title

I've heard that if you have an HD radio, you can see the name of the artist and title of the song? Is there any way that info can show up on streaming too? I've heard several songs that I like but don't know 'em so I cannot vote for them.....

Yeah, I would love to see the title and artist on the stream. Most of my listening time is on the HD Tuner at work and I get to see this, but when I stream on my computer at home I don't get the luxury of this information. Maybe there could be a place on this site with the last 20 songs played or something like that.

You're right about the HD radio showing the title and artist of the songs. Unfortunately the feature doesn't work with the stream. I understand it's on a list of plans, but for now, it aint happening.

What about a list that'd show what songs were being played, maybe like in a given hour or predetermined "block"...?

Straight up, it will be music from 1997 and backwards. It will be primarily the artists and songs that people I have chatted up over the years (since RFHawaii left the airwaves) and stuff you do not hear on radio.

While the original format offered Beyond the Sea/Bobby Darin into Fade to Black/Metallica into Pachabel's Canon in D (this has become the patented segue to explaining away the eclectic mix), one of the main concerns with many hardcore fans of the format was:

If a radio station already exists that plays that music, why are you guys playing it here?

So...I will do my best to get in all that hip hop/metal/ska/reggae/alt rock that you might remember best. If it came in on a ballot! The first time around!

I agree with RaMMaR!!! I want to know at least a block or two. Has anyone posted any lists yet?

At least tell the name of the song or band on the stream before or after the songs are played if you can't gat the stream to show the titles. Then maybe we could know who we're listening to. This is bomb music!!!
