- I'm a Radio show host/personality with 30+ years experience.
Born in Hawaii so that makes me a "Boricua-Hawaiiana" and very proud of it. Married to a wonderful man, Retired Naval Master Chief John A. Ortiz, mother of three great children, a proud grandmother of five+ and our newest addition an adorable great-grand-daughter.
My program "Alma Latina" (Latin Soul)is the longest-running Latin music radio program in the Pacific on another radio network.
I also own and manage "Alma Latina Productions", a Latin Entertainment Promotion/Event Planning Company.
Alma Latina Productions, has played an important role in bringing to Hawaii many Salsa/Latin groups from Puerto Rico, New York, and California with much success.

We believe in promoting all of our local talent here in Hawaii and abroad, whenever possible.

You asked for it.....so we did it!
Each week "Latin Vibes" will start off the first hour with Salsa, Merengue, Classic Salsa. Latin Jazz and other Latin favorites.
The second hour the DJ's of "El Control" will take the stage LIVE and mix the best in Reggaeton, Latin Hip-Hop, Bachata!
We will still feature in Da Mix "Da Lion of Judah" and "Juliann" during our first hour once a month.....
This way you will have the best of the best in Musica Latina!
